Fortnite is adding two characters from the Resident Evil franchise to the battle royale title for Halloween. Epic Games announced the addition of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine in a blog post. Both are currently available in the Fortnite Item Shop. Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield made their first appearances in the original Resident Evil title released in 1996.

Along with the new characters, the S.T.A.R.S. Team Set will include two alternate outfits along with other items inspired by the Resident Evil series. The alternate style for Chris resembles his appearance in Resident Evil Village. Jill’s matches her look in the Resident Evil 3 remake.

Additional items being added include Green, Red, and Blue Herb Back Bling, the Saving Keystrokes Back Bling, the HOT DOGGER Pickaxe, and the Stun Rod Pickaxe. The Broly Stroll Emote is also on the way. Epic released a video preview of the emote.

In August, a Street Fighter collaboration added Cammy and Guile to the game. A Horizon Zero Dawn crossover took place earlier this year, available only to those playing on PlayStation consoles.

Fortnite is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices. The new Fortnite Resident Evil additions are available now in bundles or as standalone purchases.
