Destiny 2 And Fortnite Crossover Leaked Before Bungie's Event

Destiny 2 And Fortnite Crossover Leaked Before Bungie's Event

Fortnite x Destiny 2

The Fortnite x Destiny 2 crossover should be happening this week if Fortnite leaker MidaRado’s tweet and information prove to be true. Ginsor, a Destiny dataminer, has also confirmed the crossover with the same image that displays several classic Fortnite skins in Destiny 2.

In the image, we can see Destiny’s Hunter standing front-and-center with a skin that looks very similar to the Fortnite Omega skin. Also shown is Destiny’s Warlock wearing another Fortnite-like mask, as well as a Titan armor set that resembles the Black Knight skin that was previously obtainable through the Season 2 season pass of Fortnite.

With just a picture to go off of, it is not yet clear just how these items will be obtained in Destiny 2. Rumors have been circulating that with this crossover, Fortnite would also possibly get its own Destiny skins, and considering the crossover events Fortnite has done so far, like the recent Dragon Ball Super crossover, Destiny would not be an all too crazy idea.

If Destiny fans missed it, the latest TWAB talks about Arc 3.0, subclasses, new mods, and more.

We identified it from honorable source. Here are a number of highest rated fortnite rift png pictures upon internet. He apparently comes from more modern times and was pulled through the rift portal that was created in the rocket event.

For the first time, MTV's upcoming Video Music Awards (VMAs) are incorporating video games by featuring a "Best Metaverse Performance" category.

The new category shows there's major mainstream interest in the promise of the metaverse, and calls to attention the efforts studios like Epic Games have made over the years to embrace the concept.

Throughout 2022, several musicians held musical performances in popular video games, similar to Travis Scott's massive virtual concert in Fortnite back in 2020. That concert attracted a record of 12.3 million concurrent players and even a recording of the event on YouTube has over 190 million views. Since its rising popularity, MTV was spurred to create the category.

"We saw the opportunity to highlight and honor some of the best, most impactful executions of this - and celebrate artists who have found creative ways to use these spaces - which led to the addition of [the] Best Metaverse Performance category this year," reads a statement from MTV.

The full list of nominees includes Ariana Grande headlining the "Rift Tour" concert in Fortnite, BTS in Minecraft, Blackpink in PUBG Mobile, Justin Bieber's interactive experience in Wave, and the individual performances in Roblox by Charlie XCX and 21 Pilots.

Voting for "best Metaverse" and the other VMA categories is currently active, with the winners to be announced on August 28.

The metaverse: like going out with friends, but with more T-posing

In recent years, Epic Games' Fortnite and Mojang's Minecraft have become venues for promotional events. Earlier this year, Fortnite collaborated with Coachella this year, even playing songs from the annual music festival in the game. Last year, the game also held a music festival featuring artists from around the world, such as Brazilian rapper Emicida and Egyptian artist Mohamed Hamaki.

In 2020, Epic's battle royale became a virtual movie theater to screen films from director Christopher Nolan ahead of the release of his then-upcoming sci-fi thriller Tenet. Similarly, Disney held an event in Fortnite to promote the release of 2019's Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker that also served effectively as that film's prologue.

There's an appeal in digital concerts such as these; both for health and safety reasons, and also for merchandising. Players can buy in-game shirts, character skins, and emotes of artists to celebrate their favorite artists, either with in-game currency or real-world money. And since several of these games such as Fortnite and Roblox are free, the in-game items are the only things players have to spend money on.

Where to find the BigFoot in Fortnite Season 5

Where to find the BigFoot in Fortnite Season 5

The Bigfoot has arrived in Fortnite Season 5 as an NPC with random spawn locations.

Finding the Bigfoot in Fortnite seems to be a problem that multiple players are facing. The NPCs random spawn locations in every game are making it even harder. However, a few tips and tricks will provide a better chance of finding the creature.

The Bigfoot not only has random spawn locations but also moves around the map after spawning. This makes it extremely difficult for players to track this in-game NPC.

Bigfoot was introduced in Fortnite during Chapter 1 - Season 9, on June 29th, 2019, as a rare Fortnite Skin. It was priced at 1,200 V-Bucks and was available in the item shop. It made a return to Fortnite this season as an NPC who is extremely hard to find.

The bigfoot skin is a rare fortnite outfit from the bigfoot set. Bigfoot has the most spawn locations out of any of the other npcs on the map. New bigfoot skin gameplay in fortnite battle royale.new bigfoot skin gameplay in fortnite battle royale.

Here's everything to know about finding Bigfoot in Fortnite.

How to locate Bigfoot in Fortnite

The most elusive NPC, Bigfoot can be tough to find when players have no information about its spawn location. However, Epic Games has made sure to offer players some hints at the very least. To make their pursuit of the creature a tad bit easier, here's what they need to do:

  • Players will need to locate Bunker Jonesy, who has information regarding the Bigfoot, in exchange for 100 Gold Bars. This NPC can be found either in Camp Cod or Shipwreck Cove towards the bottom of Fortnite's map.
  • Before heading over to Bunker Jonesy, players need to ensure that they have the designated 100 Gold Bars to spend. That is the only possible way of acquiring intel regarding the Bigfoot's location.
  • After receiving information from him, they will find a clue location on the map. This clue, however, disappears if they move away from it. It is advised that they place a manual marker at the site.

Players should note that despite the information from Bunker Jonesy, finding the Bigfoot can still be tricky. Given that the NPC is always moving around the Fortnite map, it could move away from the clue location that they receive from Bunker Jonesy.

The additional challenge of finding the most elusive NPC in Fortnite is one that many are looking to accomplish. The Bigfoot additionally rewards players with a Zero Point fish for the effort they put in.

Lastly, the Tomatohead outfit is captioned "Extra saucy." as it turns you into a pizza mascot. There's a different top you can wear too with the Extra Cheese Glider that resembles a slice of cheese pizza.

There's a lot of different things you can purchase to further make your character yours, whether you choose skins or outfits, and they all cost around the same as these new additions. Personally, we're quite partial to Tomatohead, who has that super sick cheese glider. We could really go for a slice of steaming hot cheese pizza right now.

Hello, Meet Lola

Fortnite: Can you get free VBucks?

Fortnite: Can you get free VBucks?

Fortnite, just like other games in the battle royale category, thrives on in-game purchases and other micro transactions. Each game has its own unique in-game currency system that reciprocates the actual currency system of the world. While each game has a different currency ecosystem, most of them work on the same principles.

Fortnite's in-game currency is called V-Bucks. In order to purchase any cosmetic item or any other service in the game, players need to trade in V-Bucks. All the transactions are done via in-game currency, and no actual currency enters the trade cycles except while acquiring the in-game currency.

This evening,I attended a parent/teacher conference. And a parent disclose that her child went behind her back and bought V bucks. V bucks is the virtual currency in the game Fortnite, the currency is used to purchase in game items. I Thank God my children will never do such! https://t.co/7fWwiOvIwZ

Although Fortnite is a free-to-play game, a plethora of players spend V-Bucks on acquiring skins, wraps, emotes, and other cosmetic items in the game. V-Bucks can be bought in exchange for actual currency, and Loopers can only trade in V-Bucks in the battle royale title.

Fact Check: There are no free V-Bucks in Fortnite

Not everybody can come to terms with spending actual money to acquire some virtual cosmetics. People who want to experience the immersive game without spending money often ponder how they can get free V-Bucks in the Epic Games' BR title. Let's explore if there is a possible way to get free V-Bucks.

First and foremost, the easiest way to acquire V-bucks is to buy a bundle offered as an add-on by the developers. Players can simply buy the bundle online via the official website and store. This is by far the easiest, no-nonsense way to acquire V-Bucks.

The second option to acquire V-Bucks is to purchase the Battle Pass. The Battle Pass contains a plethora of skins and other cosmetic items along with V-Bucks that can be claimed as the player rises through the ranks in the game. This is one of the most value-for-money options to get V-Bucks in Fortnite. However, players have to spend 950 V-Bucks to get the Battle Pass, hence this option doesn't offer free V-Bucks.

The third option does offer free v-bucks, but there's a caveat. Fortnite has a mode called Save the World that offers free V-Bucks just for logging in and completing some quests. Here's the catch. Save the World only offers free V-Bucks to the 'Founders,' players who got the game upon its initial release. Plus, the game needs to be purchased, hence this option doesn't provide free bucks, except to a few players.

There is an alternate option, called the V-Bucks generator, that people resort to in a desperate attempt to get free V-Bucks, though most of them end up losing instead of getting free bucks. As the name suggests, these websites promise to pay out free in-game currency to players. Players must provide some basic information and login with their Fortnite account.

Screenshot of a "Free V-Bucks" generator scam website [Caution is advised] (Image via Google)
Screenshot of a "Free V-Bucks" generator scam website [Caution is advised] (Image via Google)

These websites are not legitimate and often dupe gullible players. There is no affiliate program by Epic Games that pays out free V-Bucks. Players should be smart and avoid such scams. There are a plethora of such generators out there scamming unsuspecting players by stealing all their data.

There is no actual way to get free V-Bucks in Fortnite. The only way to acquire the in-game currency is to purchase it from a legitimate and authorized source. One trick that can help some people get their hands on free V-Bucks is the giveaways and drops offered by the game's content creators in the form of gifts. However, players should always be cautious about sharing their data and personal information.

How long will the server downtime last for Fortnite Chapter 3?

How long will the server downtime last for Fortnite Chapter 3?

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 has entertained loopers since September. However, after several months of intense action, it is finally time to wave goodbye to the Cubes. Meanwhile, loopers are at work and have revealed some details about Fortnite Chapter 3, but most of it remains a mystery even to this day.

Prior to the end of Chapter 2 Season 8, gamers will see an end-of-season event. The countdown timer is already up and running and leaks hint towards a Black Hole event.

The Convergence is complete and the countdown to The End has begun ⏰Like this tweet to be reminded to join the Chapter 2 Finale on December 4 at 4 PM ET. https://t.co/kxO9chEDmq

One major concern is the probable downtime for the new chapter in Fortnite. Several pieces of information on the matter have recently been revealed and it seems there is a confirmation regarding the same.

Fortnite Chapter 3: Downtime will be for three days

The end of each season in Fortnite is marked by a live event demonstrating the progress of the storyline. Gamers look forward to the end-of-season event to know what to expect next season in terms of content and probable cosmetics.

The live event gives way to a downtime, after which players can access the brand new season. Usually, the seasonal downtime lasts a few hours. However, the end of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 will give way to a new chapter altogether. Therefore, it is certain that the downtime will be longer than the normal stint.

when does fortnite servers come back up

youtube-cover

Popular content creator SinX6 recently uncovered a great deal of information regarding the downtime of Fortnite Chapter 3. In one of his videos, he revealed that the Xbox Store shows December 7 to be the end date for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8.

This is interesting as the countdown timer is set to end on December 4 and the live event will commence at 4.00 pm ET the same day. It is anticipated that the live event will be of around 15 to 20 minutes in its entirety, following which the island will be engulfed by a massive black hole.

The servers will go under maintenance right after the live event. Therefore, it is evident that the servers are going offline on December 4, while the Xbox Store reveals the end date to be December 7. To clarify, the downtime for Fortnite Chapter 3 will be three days.

Following the live event, the developers will release a new chapter with a new map altogether. A new Battle Pass as well as new characters will be introduced. Epic will need considerable time to add and implement the changes and a three-day downtime seems justified.

We’re going to guess that the servers will be back online on. But it’s not all bad news, once they are. When will the fortnite server be back up?

Stranger Things Season 4 may have concluded but this new fan-made Vecna skin has Fortnite players calling for the popular collab to return.

If you’re a Stranger Things fan, chances are you’re excited for the series’ final season. Without spoiling more than his name, our latest season introduced a new iconic villain – Vecna.

Despite not appearing too frequently in the series so far, Vecna is a major player in the Upside Down, and he’s quickly become a fan-favorite antagonist.

Now, a new skin concept brings Vecna to Fortnite, and Stranger Things fans are calling for it to become a reality.

Stranger Things Fortnite

Is Stranger Things’ Vecna Coming to Fortnite?

It seems that Vecna will not be coming to Fortnite, nor will Stranger Things return to the battle royale, at least until Season 5.

But despite that fact Stranger Things and Fortnite fans are calling for this fan-made Vecna skin to become official if the show’s collab returns.

Last time around, Fortnite’s Stranger things collab featured Chief Hopper and The Demogorgon skins. But could a potential upcoming crossover expand the Stranger Things skin pool to include just one more addition?

If so, we hope it looks something like this recent Twitter post by CDNRalt. The Vecna model (created by D3NNI_YT) looks perfectly suited for the Fortnite universe, after all.

And while Vecna is certainly not a family-friendly character, neither is the Demogorgon. It’s not impossible that we could see the character in-game one day.

In the 2006 reboot of the James Bond series Casino Royale, Daniel Craigs plays a high-stakes poker game with the world's fate on the table.

As Craig saves the world by winning a poker game, one would think gambling is all about winning. In reality, though, it's about losing by a hair. The videogame Fortnite engages its gamers in the same way casinos do: by driving their players to the edge by almost winning. It is all about losing.

Fortnite isn't a shooting game as much as it is a game about losing. Over 300 million Fortnite players worldwide enjoy the game of "losing." And at times, this enjoyment comes even at the expense of losing their partners in the real world. In 2019, a UK divorce agency reported Fortnite as the reason behind 4,500 divorces—5% of all divorces—in the country.

So, what makes Fortnite so sticky? To find out, you must first dive into neuroscience and psychology.

For a layperson and non-gamer, Fortnite may seem like a foolish, ordinary third-person shooter game. But to game developers, Fortnite is the magnum opus of gaming. It's a game that changed the game. Some may say it could belong right next to the invention of the iPhone in the halls of tech history.

The rush players get when they are about to enter a match or while fighting in the final battle for victory starts in the brain but goes way beyond it.

As players work hard to combine strategy, aim, and teamwork to win the game, their brains work hard too. The brain undergoes strenuous, psychological work for just one round of Fortnite at the expense of achieving a large, future reward. In striving for it, players get small wins along the way, like finding hidden items or winning a sudden confrontation against another player. With each small win, the brain is rewarded with a small spurt of dopamine, a hormone linked with anticipated pleasure. Like a kid in an ice cream shop, each dopamine lick keeps the players coming back for more.

That is what happens when players play. It is equally important to see what happens when players lose. Following a loss, players rationalize their defeat and often tell themselves that the tiniest of mistakes kept them from winning: a small decision to go left instead of right or a single misfired bullet. When a thought like this is planted in the brain, things get ugly and impulsive quickly. The result of all this mental jujitsu is players wanting to play another match, hoping for a different outcome over and over again. Each time to undo the tiny little mistake they believe led to the previous loss. Play, lose, rationalize, and play again.

The obvious question is here why. Psychologists explain why via something called the near-miss effect. This effect is at play when we have fictional control - lose a game because of one missed shot, fail an exam due to one wrong answer, or think we don't get the job because of something we may have said in the interview.

In gambling psychology, the near-miss effect explains why gamblers who almost had the winning spin, hand, or lottery ticket keep spending money to play. Likewise, in gaming, it describes why gamers don't have to win at Fortnite to feel the high of their wins. Instead, the strategy lies in getting players close to the feeling of winning because when you almost win, you feel the same buzz and go on to play more rounds.

In addition to near-miss, the neuroscience of pleasure is at play. The potency of pleasure, defined as a feeling of reward, is amplified when rewards are random. Playing Fortnite is like pulling the slot machine lever; it doesn't matter what you get because you receive pleasant random rewards from small wins anyway.

Many studies have shown how powerful random rewards can be in driving all sorts of behavior. Take the classic pigeon study, for example. Researchers placed pigeons in the same environment and allowed them to peck freely between two levers: the first delivered food at every press, and the second provided food in a randomized manner, between 50-70% of the time.

Naturally, one would expect pigeons to peck on the first lever because it dispensed food continuously. And who doesn't like unlimited meals, right? The results showed otherwise. The pigeons preferred randomized over unlimited meals, spending nearly twice as much time picking on the second lever. Random rewards win.

Humans are very much like the pigeons in the study, drawn to random rewards and surprises more than you think. In neuroscience-speak, behavioral psychologists call random rewards the variable-interval schedule. Fortnite uses the random reward mechanism to hook hundreds of millions of gamers and continues to reap the rewards of capitalizing on human psychology. Fortnite reported revenue at a staggering $1.8 billion pre-pandemic, retaining its title as the highest-earning game from the year before.

While Fortnite is at the forefront of random rewards in the gaming industry, there are also cases of businesses in the e-commerce and airline industry that apply it to influence consumer behavior.

Part of being human, especially in today's day and age, is predicting what happens next. This occurs not only with big life decisions like buying a house or raising a family but also with mundane decisions like where and what to eat. For instance, when you go to a new restaurant or try a new meal, it is in your human nature to predict how good or bad the food might be.

Suppose you are a stereotypical carnivore. Your partner convinced you to try a vegan restaurant. You might expect mediocrity in a vegan dish, but it ends up knocking your socks off. You will experience a hit of random reward. In neuroscience, this immediate combo of surprise and satisfaction is called the positive prediction error. It is positive because you were wrong in a good way. When things go above, and beyond your expectations, your brain launches into dopamine production mode, making you happier than expected when you leave the restaurant.

If your experience had been the opposite, you would be more likely to move on and look for the next good food. In short, you are constantly chasing dopamine, but little do you know, dopamine is a dish best served with a side of randomness.

Companies like Zappos intuited and capitalized on random rewards early on. Before Amazon bought the company for $850 million in 2009, they operated in the early years of e-commerce associated with slow delivery. At best, deliveries took 4-5 business days, but Zappos upgraded each order to arrive within two days without telling (or charging) their customers. Why? The power of random rewards. When customers receive their order in a day instead of a week, they are not only greeted by their new pair of shoes but also with a sense of surprise.

The same goes for airlines and flight schedules too. Imagine your flight is scheduled to arrive at 10:30 pm, but the captain announces the flight arrives at 10 pm instead. Suddenly, everyone's happy to be back early. A closer look reveals a brilliant design. Researchers have found that flight times have increased by 8% in the past twenty years, while the actual flight duration has not changed. By hedging, airlines own the idiom "underpromise and overdeliver" and provide a hit of dopamine via a positive prediction error.

The psychology of losing, or rather almost winning, and random rewards are potent drivers of behavior. These neuromarketing tactics are valuable for marketers to create engaging consumer experiences as long as they are used ethically. Neuromarketing is like gambling; please play responsibly.

10 Best Epic Skins On Fortnite

10 Best Epic Skins On Fortnite

Fortnite organizes its vast list of character skins by rarity. Although one step down the ladder from Legendary, the Epic skins do not lack any creative design value. They all are unique and offer diverse flair, fitting in any possible category a player could want. In fact, they are nothing less but "epic."

These Epic skins are really not that far off from the best Legendary ones, and only cost players 1,500 V-Bucks. So many of them still offer various style options, amazing, matching back blings and pickaxes, and more. Whether players are looking for a humorous banana costume or a mystical witch, they are all available as Epic skins.

Cube Assassin

One of the scariest Fortnite enemies players had to face in-game, the Cube Assassin, later became an Epic skin included in the Fortnite Crew package in Season 8 of Chapter 2.

The Cube Assassin is a very different character skin than the usual designs players see. She is hooded, with certain purple cube crystals poking out from different parts of her body, including completely covering her face. Her outfit also has etchings of purple glowing glyphs, which players might remember seeing on the Cube. She can be bought in the full Glyph Aura set with the Assassin's Mark weapon skin, the reactive Cubist back bling, and Cube Edge pickaxe.

Peely

Peely is one of the silliest character skins that perhaps fueled most of the Fortnite memes fans love. He was part of the Battle Pass in Season 8 of Chapter 2, but he has had multiple different style options.

This adorable and humorous skin has become a staple character in the Fortnite universe, and players can see so many different style options for him popping up in Battle Passes and the shop, from Agent Peely, Peely Bone, all the way to beach styled Unpeely. He also came with several special emotes—the classic, 'Nana Nana,' the Peely Bone, and the 'Xylo Bone' emote. Peely is not only a silly skin for Players to troll to victory with, but he is reactive. His bright yellow color slowly ripens as the match goes on.

Minty Bomber

Minty Bomber is another great example of an original skin that has evolved over the many seasons to a completely new style but with the same beloved aspects. Minty Bomber still has the flying llama outfit, matching backpack, and llama pickaxe that fans love, but now with some new minty colors schemes.

Like the Dark Bomber, this skin has darker design features, charcoal-colored skin, and green glowing eyes. It was added as part of the Minty Legends set, including minty versions of Oro and Aura, at the end of Chapter 2. Although Minty Bomber comes with her usual accessories, they also are customized with fresh new colors.

Sparkle Specialist

Although a new version of Sparkle Specialist, Sparkle Supreme, was released, the original design remains a fan favorite. The simple skin had the perfect flair with her pop of bright blue lipstick and hairstreak, disco-esque apparel, and star tattoos, making her special in the early Battle Pass.

Sparkle Specialist was included early in Fortnite in Chapter 1, Season 2 Battle Pass, and part of a Fortnite Fever set later in the shop. The Fortnite Fever Set also included two other battle-ready, Disco-dressed characters, Funk Ops and Disco Diva. Sparkle Specialist didn't come with any extra accessories at the time. However, when the new version arrived, it offered loads of accessories to match either skin. Although it had the potential to bring a better version of the nostalgic character fans loved, Sparkle Supreme just ultimately wasn't the same.

Tilted Teknique

Unlike Sparkle Supreme, Fortnite offered fans a better version of the original street artist, Teknique, with the Tilted Teknique skin. Tilted Teknique gave fans a better fashion sense and design in general, but it also gave them more style options for the skin.

Tilted Teknique arrived in the Battle Pass at the end of Chapter 1, and players were also given different styles for her, such as the Streetstyle, Wildstyle, and the homage to the original design, Hoodie Style. This allowed players to have different colors for the outfits and look more like the original with the forward cap and hoodie. Players could also collect the matching paint roller pickaxe and Spray Sail glider to complete the punk artist look.

Skye

Skye was one of the first skins at the start of Chapter 2 that offered a completely different animation style and body type. It was a refreshing change for players tired of seeing the same model and frame used for previous looks. She looked younger, more anime-like, with big eyes and adorable cartoonish accessories.

Skye almost seemed to be a crossover from Legend of Zelda because of her similarities with Link. Fans speculated this theory because her sword looked a lot like Link's, and her Adventure Backpack back bling also displays a shield and an amulet. Players also thought she could be inspired by Fin from Adventure Time. Even her glider Ollie looks like a creature from one of these worlds. She undoubtedly is a fan favorite because of these similarities. She was part of the Battle Pass in Chapter 2 with alternative color styles, but there is no telling if she will make a return to the shop.

Isabelle

Isabelle is a magical skin released to the shop in early 2021 as part of the Oakwitch Academy set. Isabelle is a character skin with alternating styles, one school outfit that seems to be inspired by the robes from Harry Potter, and then a more superhero style that makes her look like one of the best DC character skins.

Isabelle is a great design in either style, differing in red or green colors by completing the quests included. She comes with the Book of Spells back bling and Astrolomaster's Staff pickaxe. More alternative designs for her skin also appeared in the Item Shop, such as the Christmas version Blizzabelle and the more dark style, Grisabelle. A version was also given out as a gift to players for the 2021 Winterfest, one of the best events in Fortnite.

Hemlock

Hemlock, an entirely different Witch skin in Fortnite, is one of the coolest and perhaps scariest Epic skins players can buy in the shop. Her fairytale Witch appearance even seems a little homage to the classic green witch from The Wizard of Oz.

Hemlock is very detailed skin that comes with the Bag of Shadows back bling and a character emote called Witchcraft. This emote allows players to shift their appearance to the alternating beast-like style in-game. Hemlock is also part of the Arcane Arts set that includes many more great Wizard and Witch-like characters who also have multiple style options. The set also includes the glider Magic Wings, which look like celestial wings made from magic.

Jules

Jules is another character skin that came into the game around the same time as Skye and was included in that same Battle Pass. She shares with Skye the new design for body type and facial features. She is also one of the only character skins that display more than one or two tattoos.

Jules was part of the Battle Pass at the beginning of Chapter 2, and players could also unlock different style options for her, the Shadow skin and the reactive Welder skins that actually animate in-game when players look down the sight of their weapon. Players also collected her Ohm glider and Wrenchers pickaxe in that Battle Pass. Since then, players can also find her Intrepid Engines set available for purchase in the Item Shop and another Scrapknight Jules style.

Derby Dynamo

bone wasp fortnite

New fortnite season 10 new skins gameplay live stream with typical gamer! Bone wasp was first added to the game in fortnite chapter 1 season 10. Fortnite bone wasp 4 action figure epic games jazwares brand new.

Derby Dynamo is another unique character skin that seems to be inspired by a competitor in the sport Roller Derby. She was available in the Item Shop early on during Chapter 2 and could be purchased in a bundle for a small fee of $4.99.

Derby Dynamo is one of the skins that could only be purchased with real money instead of V-bucks but proves to be worth the small cost. Players get three alternating styles in her bundle that must be unlocked by completing the given quests. It also comes with the Quad Roller back bling that changes to match the selected outfit style and a character emote called Freewheelin' that is an original dance in which the character rolls around on her skates.

Which Fortnite Funko Pop is best?

Fortnite is the most popular battle royale in video game history. Epic Games created a unique, colorful and highly competitive game that pits 100 players against each other on an ever-changing map. Players drop in from the Battle Bus, search for loot, supplies and weapons that they use against their opponents. The game’s style looks almost cartoonish, which has spawned some truly unique and interesting characters.

Many of these characters have been transformed into vinyl toys from company Funko Pop. You can collect and display these unique toys that showcase the intricate designs of the playable Fortnite characters. The best Fortnite Funko Pop is the Fishstick figure, which features a walking goldfish geared up and ready for battle.

What to know before you buy a Fortnite Funko Pop

Fortnite seasons

Fortnite has frequent updates known as Seasons that come every few months. They’re free to download and often bring new features to the game. They can include new characters, items, utilities and even changes to the overall map. The part most looked forward to in any new season is the skins. Skins and characters are interchangeable terms in Fortnite. Peely the banana and Fishstick the walking fish are both characters in the lore of Fortnite and skins you can purchase in the game.

Rarities

Fortnite has its own in-game rarity system to let players know how valuable or strong an item is. This can apply to weapons, pickaxes, skins and other items. Generally speaking, this system starts at Handmade, which uses the color white and goes all the way up to Mythic, representing gold items. White weapons are the weakest, they output the least amount of damage and are the most common items in the game. Gold items are very rare and you may not even come across one in a given game.

Skins

When a game features skins, they’re really referring to in-game characters or outfits. In every game, including Fortnite, you start off with a default skin. This is usually a generic-looking character with little detail to their outfit. As you progress in the game, you can earn new skins or purchase them through the Item Shop. Skins are a huge part of Fortnite in particular because of the game’s third-person viewpoint. Unlike a first person shooter, third-person games show the entire character model as you run around the map. Since players can see their character while playing, it gives them more incentive to purchase skins.

What to look for in a quality Fortnite Funko Pop

Pickaxes

Pickaxes are the main tools players use to harvest materials in Fortnite. These materials are then used to build structures to protect yourself and your teammates from opponents. Fortnite Funko Pop toys don’t often come with pickaxes. However, you can find certain high-quality figures that have their own pickaxe. Skull Trooper, for example, comes with his signature Reaper pickaxe.

Limited-time skins

Like it or not, part of the selling point for certain Fortnite skins is that they’re only offered for a limited time. This helps to keep certain skins of the rare variety. The rarer the skin, the more valuable it becomes in the game. While skins aren’t resellable, they still offer a fair amount of clout if you’re rocking a rare skin. Funko Pop has taken some of these originally rare skins from the game and turned them into collectable figures. Black Knight is one of the earliest skins to become popular. It was released in Season 2 back in 2017. Funko created an equally rare Black Knight toy which can be purchased in vinyl form.

Loot Llama

The famous Loot Llama in Fortnite is a piñata llama that’s filled with valuable and rare items. This can include gold weapons, lots of ammunition and plenty of medical supplies. Believe it or not, there’s actually a Funko Pop Loot Llama available as well. This rare character isn’t playable in the actual game, yet it’s been turned into a fun collectable item in real life. The llama is blue and purple and wears a brown muzzle and saddle.

Fortnite Funko Pop FAQ

Are Fortnite Funko Pop toys considered rare?

A. Funko no longer makes Fortnite vinyl figures, so to some collectors, they can in fact be considered rare. This is especially true for the figures that make up the rare Fortnite in-game skins like Black Knight and Skull Trooper.

How tall are Funko Pop toys?

A. Most Funko Pop toys are the same size. They normally stand about 3.75 inches tall and are around 1.5 inches wide. This can vary by character in some cases, but each standard Funko figure is the same height.
