Choosing the ideal Minecraft username can be a complex task for players who love the game’s multiplayer side. Here’s how to change your Minecraft username for Java and Bedrock editions on Xbox, PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and other platforms.
While some players love owning the same username for decades, others like to shake things up every once in a while. It is safe to assume that the Minecraft community contains both these factions. The sandbox game allows players to make an empire alone and also team up with their friends.
If you don’t feel right about your Minecraft username, here’s how you change it easily.
How to change your Minecraft username in Bedrock edition
Minecraft Bedrock edition is available on a wide range of platforms like Xbox, Nintendo Switch, mobile, and PlayStation. Follow these steps to change your username according to your platform:

- Visit Xbox’s official website and sign in with your Xbox/Microsoft account.
- Upon your profile and choose Customize.
- Click on the pencil icon.
- Type your new username and confirm if it’s available.
Changing your Xbox gamer tag is free for the first time but it can cost up to $10 after that.

Your PlayStation network name is your Minecraft username on PlayStation. Here’s how to change it:
- Visit Sony’s official PSN sign-in page and sign in with your account.
- Select PSN profile.
- Find your Online ID and click on Edit.
- Enter the new username and confirm the change.
You can also do this on a PS4 console by going to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Profile > Online ID.

Following Microsoft’s acquisition of Mojang and Minecraft, the developers of the sandbox game are actively encouraging users to migrate their Mojang accounts to Microsoft accounts. This won’t change how they play the game but is a way to ensure better security through double-factor authentication.
As a result, having a Microsoft account is the most convenient way to perform tasks such as changing your Minecraft username.

MultiVersus Season 1 is here, bringing new characters, a Battle Pass, and Ranked to the free-to-play fighting game. But when does the next season start? Here’s everything we know about MultiVersus Season 2.
MultiVersus immediately became a hit when its open beta went live in July, bringing in over 10 million players. Even more content arrived in its Season 1 update on August 15, with characters such as Rick, Morty, Black Adam, and Beetlejuice arriving throughout the season.
But with MultiVersus having the potential to bring characters from every corner of Warner Bros’ brands, we’re taking a look at Season 2 and breaking down its expected release date, leaked characters, and everything else the next season could bring.
- Expected MultiVersus Season 2 release date
- MultiVersus Season 2 character leaks

Expected MultiVersus Season 2 release date
While the devs, Player First, haven’t given an official release date, MultiVersus Season 2 is set to arrive on November 15, 2022.
This is when the Season 1 Battle Pass expires, so assuming there are no delays or extended downtime, we expect Season 2 to kick off immediately after.
MultiVersus Season 2 character leaks
MultiVersus already has a diverse roster from Warner Bros’ properties, and a ton of upcoming characters have been leaked.
With Batman, Harley Quinn, and Wonder Woman already in MultiVersus, there are, of course, more DC Universe characters such as Joker and Poison Ivy set to arrive. Plus, other fan favorites such as Harry Potter, Daenerys Targaryen, and Ted Lasso have been found in the game files.
While Lord of the Rings characters such as Gandalf and Legolas have been leaked, their arrival has been made more unlikely after dataminers reported that all of the LotR content has been removed from the game files. This was only one day before Embracer Group acquired the IP rights to The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
There’s no way of knowing which characters will arrive in Season 2, but we should know much more about the upcoming season before it goes live.
Expected MultiVersus Season 2 content
Alongside all of the new MultiVersus characters, we expect Season 2 to bring game-changing buffs and nerfs to the existing roster, a new Battle Pass, maps and stages inspired by the new arrivals, and perhaps a new Ranked season.

The Fortnite map has Dragon Ball vending machines with unique items scattered around it, and we’ve shown where to find them.

As part of the crossover, Dragon Ball vending machines are scattered around the Fortnite map, containing familiar items from the popular anime. Here’s where to find Dragon Ball vending machines in Fortnite.
After what felt like months of hype and speculation, the Dragon Ball crossover has finally arrived in Fortnite, bringing a boatload of new content inspired by the popular anime.
On top of Goku and Vegeta skins, players can also visit familiar locations like Kami House and watch entire episodes of Dragon Ball Super in-game. There are also plenty of themed Quests to complete to unlock a special Shenron glider.
Many of these challenges require you to use a Nimbus Cloud or Kamehameha, and Dragon Ball vending machines are an easy way to get hold of these items. So, here’s where to find Dragon Ball vending machines in Fortnite.
What are Dragon Ball vending machines in Fortnite?
Dragon Ball vending machines are just like the regular vending machines found in Fortnite matches, only they exclusively stock Dragon Ball items rather than the usual array of weapons and health items.
There are currently only two items available from dragon ball vending machines; the Nimbus Cloud or a three-stack of the Kamehameha weapon. Both can be purchased for 250 Gold Bars.
You can grab both items for free from the Capsule Corp Capsules that spawn around the map, however, these often attract plenty of players and can be dangerous to go after.
Dragon Ball vending machines offer a much more risk-free method of gaining these iconic anime items if you can afford to splash some Gold Bars.
Fortnite Dragon Ball vending machine locations
In total, there are just three Dragon Ball vending machines on the entire Fortnite island, as marked on the map above.
We’ve given a brief description of where to find each one below:
- South of Shifty Shafts on the northeast coast of the lake, facing out towards the water.
- Inside Rave Cave — jump off the ramp inside the building with three arrows on it and look to your left.
- The bottom floor of the tallest building in Rocky Reels.
Once you track one down, simply interact with it to buy one of the two Dragon Ball items up for grabs.

Apex Legends players have called out the game’s Ranked matchmaking, claiming it’s placing them in unfair matches against opponents well out of their league.
Apex Legends Season 14 has been well received by the community, with the new character Vantage and other quality of life changes bringing the feel-good factor back to the battle royale.
Unfortunately, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing, and fans have been quick to point out a number of issues in the new season. Wattson’s fence is still broken despite the fix that was supposed to come in Season 14, while the Battle Pass has also come under fire.
Now, although Respawn did make some welcome changes, players have slammed Apex Legends’ Ranked mode for putting together lobbies with a huge skill gap.
Reddit user Azrael462 started a thread criticizing the state of matchmaking in Apex Ranked, arguing the wide range of ranks that can make up a single lobby make it less enjoyable for those in lower brackets.
“If I am in gold I should be fighting gold people, NOT F*****G PREDS OR MASTERS,” the user ranted. “You can actually say it’s a skill issue here because clearly it is, gold is the third rank below masters and fourth below pred, now fix your f*****g system.”
Apex Legends Ranked mode, like most similar modes, is supposed to work on skill-based matchmaking, where only players of a similar rank are put together to make for an even fight. However, players are noticing that this doesn’t seem to be the case.
The OP seemed to point the blame at streamers, as they felt that the current matchmaking system was designed to give full-time players in higher ranks more chance of finding a lobby, rather than being lumped together in every match.
“I’m tired of getting 1k damage and 3 kills only to still lose 30 RP because OF A F*****G PREDATOR STREAMER,” the Redditor continued. “Listen to the community and not the streamers because clearly they don’t know a f*****g thing.”
Other comments seemed to agree that Ranked mode is becoming more punishing, especially if you happen to be in the Bronze, Silver, or Gold tiers. “Never seen a game with worse matchmaking IMO,” argued one reply. “No other game made me feel so fucking helpless like apex did, not even League [of Legends],” said another.
This has been an ongoing frustration among the Apex community, and players will be hoping to see Ranked mode’s matchmaking given some tweaks during Season 14 or in the Season 15 update.
