With the arrival of the Fortnite v9.40 patch, we’ve had our first look at some new skins for the first time in a long while thanks to the 14 Days of Summer event making Epic only release small “content” updates. Thankfully, v9.40 has brought us a tonne of leaked skins, including a Japanese nightmare robot ghost that I will buy instanty.
Here are the leaked skins, all courtesy of Hypex and KrispyLeaks. As always, there’s no guarantee on when these skins will actually release, or that they will even release at all.
Fortnite v9.40 Leaked Skins
The above is a composite of all of the Fortnite v9.40 leaked skins found so far. There aren’t many of them, but that’s largely down to Season 10 being right around the corner.
There are additional skins, however. Tsuki is the aforementioned Japanese robot ghost and Copper Wasp is basically robot Heihachi.
Here’s a quick list:
Bachii – Rare
Mika – Rare
Anarchy Agent – Uncommon
Copper Wasp – Epic
Tsuki – Rare
These rarities are subject to change.
A skin that may interest those who wondered where the hell she went, v9.40 also suggests we will be seeing the Gemini skin again. However, it appears to be quite the distinctive design overhaul, and maybe not for the better. Even the name has changed to Astro Assassin, so maybe the bunny form will still arrive? No rarities just yet.
Here are closer looks at a few of the skins.
On top of all of this, we may also be getting Overtime challenges to help us unlock new styles for the skins we already own. However, it looks like they may also be applying to Item Shop skins rather than just Battle Pass this time around.
