When Will Fortnite Be Back Up Today?
As confirmed via the official Fortnite Status Twitter account, which updates players on any issues or planned server maintenance, downtime for the Fortnite v21.30 update will begin on Monday, July 18th at 1AM PT / 4AM ET / 9AM BST.
The duration of today's Fortnite server downtime is expected to last anywhere between 1 and 2 hours, meaning the latest that Fortnite will be back up is 3AM PT / 6AM ET / 11AM BST. However, should any issues arise during the scheduled maintenance, downtime may be extended.
A new patch will also be deployed on all supported platforms whilst the game's servers are offline. Players will be required to download and install the v21.30 update before they can jump back into Fortnite.
The exact type of content coming in the update is currently unknown, but leakers such as ShiinaBR believe it could include a collaboration with Hasbro's Transformers. Mainly due to the fact that the downtime announcement includes the line "it's Prime time!".
