Fortnitemares 2021 is officially on. The Fortnite Halloween event is back once again to offer up new skins, new activities, and more sPoOkY content all month.
The big draw this year is the addition of the Universal Classic Monsters, including Frankenstein (that's Frankenstein's monster, thank you) and the Mummy. That's the Boris Karloff version, not the sexy shirtless Arnold Vosloo who fought Brendan Fraser. C'est la vie.
There are also several new Halloween-themed skins ready for players to purchase that combine old favorites and new outfits. Read on for our full guide to Fortnitemares 2021.
Fortnitemares start time
If you're reading this, Fortnitemares is officially on. The event was announced and simultaneously launched on October 5 at 10am ET, though the teasers were plentiful beforehand.
Fortnitemares: Universal Classic Monster skins
Epic is adding skins based on the Universal Classic Monster lineup. Up first, we've got Frankenstein's monster in his classic green-skinned and bolt-necked style. He's got several cosmetics, including a gravedigging shovel for a pickaxe, a brain in a jar for his back bling, and a weapon wrap that turns your guns into patchwork corpses just like the man himself. Though Mary Shelley wrote and published the original "Frankenstein, or The Modern Prometheus" in 1818, it's the 1931 Universal film starring the incredible Boris Karloff that most folks consider the definitive pop culture incarnation.
Up next is the classic Mummy (also played by Karloff) based on the 1932 film. Karloff plays Imhotep, an ancient mummy awoken by researchers who use a magic scroll, before he sets off to find a woman he believes to be the reincarnation of his princess. If you ever watched Brendan Fraser fight the Mummy in the 1999 version, you get the gist, minus the plague-summoning magic powers. All that said, Fortnite's Mummy skin will be released sometime later this month, and an NPC version of him will later be seen walking around the island.
Presumably some other Universal Classic Monster skins will be added to the item shop down the road. Other options could include the Wolfman, Dracula, the Invisible Man, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
Fortnitemares skins
We've got plenty of new skins that don't fall under the Universal Classic Monster line. Returning skins include the pumpkin outfits, seen below.
Then we've got two new skins called "Boxy" and "Boxer" based on community-made designs. Hey, it's more effort than any outfit than I make.
Then we've got Geometriks, a fellow made of purple cubes. It seems someone has taken the theme of Fortnite season 8 a little too seriously.
Then there's Iones, a goth woman who's clearly a werewolf and not really afraid to flaunt it.
Fortnitemares events: What's happening on the island
According to Epic, and some insight from data miner HypeX, the cubes scattered around the island are going to converge in the center. Presumably some event will kick off when they all reach their destination. Ideally we don't get a sentient cube that wants revenge.
In the meantime, new quests will be added that will let you earn spooky cosmetics. Epic is also adding the Dual Fiend Hunters crossbow, a new weapon that deals extra damage to fiends in the Sideways zones.
If you've enjoyed previous years' "Short Nites" film festival events, you'll probably want to check out "Shortnitemares," a spooky take on the original event. As in previous fests, Fortnite will debut animated shorts, but this time the shows will take place in a new theater map created by Quantum Builds.
At the theater you'll have the option to watch the shorts in whatever order you like. Shortnitemares will wrap up Fortnitemares, so keep an eye out for that near the end of the month.
Finally, Epic says that more Fortnitemares details will be announced throughout the month, so expect some pleasant (or scary) surprises.

ESTNN's Lahftel takes us through his experiences in the world of Rust in our Rust Review in 2022.
So is playing or getting into Rust worth it in 2022? No, absolutely not. Go away and play something that isn't actively working towards giving you a heart attack and trust issues. But it still turns out to be an experience.
“It was just another day in Rust..”
Oh, you're still here? Well, I guess if you plan to stay, then allow me to tell you all about the horror I have subjected myself to over the past two weeks and my rather uplifting conclusion. Since I happen to be among the Dark Souls of video game enjoyers, (now I can check mentioning Dark Souls off my gaming journalist checklist for gamer points,) my opinion is very important. And actually, I do have some valuable insight on what Rust was and what it is now.
Because most of my hours in Rust happened on the Legacy Alpha version all the way back in 2013. I remember picking the game up on the last wave of the DayZ hype thanks to a preview by IGN (which I can't find anymore). And it is pretty wild to see how much the game has changed from a visual and mechanical standpoint.
Yet somehow in the same vein, Rust hasn't changed at all. Life sucks and then you die. That's how Rust was back when you farmed zombies for goodies and how it is now when you get shot by some guy in a neon-colored jumper.
The core of Rust being the same as it was almost 10 years ago is somewhat admirable. But if you want an extensive list of all the changes they've made since then, there is surely some YouTube video out there. The same goes for the question is Rust is worth it in 2022. Because honestly, I can't tell you. What I can tell you is that Rust should come with a content warning. The things you'll experience on your average Rust server are not for the faint of heart.
The authentic Rust experience
But let's start from the beginning, shall we? Rust is an open-world survival sandbox in which players hurl slurs at each other, your naked bits dangle in the wind and you wonder why you're dead again. In short, Rust is fucked up. That's the experience in a nutshell. From back in 2013, the only thing that has actually been your options in messing up someone's day and more stuff to do. Now is Rust a PvP game? Not quite but when you're naked, cold, hungry and alone. Peace is not an option. But we'll get to that.
YouTubers with obscenely good editing skills will make you believe that Rust isn't spending two hours punching things with a stone only to die. But that is how most journeys on Rust start and end. That's also the charm of it, really. You pick one of the thousands of servers and there is not really a goal here. The moment you spawn in you can do pretty much whatever you want and if you have the skill, you might even do it successfully. If you're starting out, I highly suggest you find yourself some friends to play with though. Because that learning curve is steep and no tutorial will save you.
Now you can build yourself a home, but instead of making it pretty you'll learn how to layer walls and doors in the most confusing way ever conceptualized. Just to make sure your wall isn't getting poked to death because you placed it in the wrong way.
And here we land at what drives the authentic Rust experience. Fear. What you have, people want. What other people have, you want. And on and on it goes. The unending circle of violence. Those massively multiplayer survival games always manage to bring out the worst in players. And if you have any shred of hope for humanity left; play Rust on a server with light moderation and you will realize that in the absence of consequences, we're all just animals. And it is beautiful.
Staring into the Abyss
I will resign myself from trying to link Rust to any great work of literature to sound smart. Because Rust stands as a work of its own. It is probably the only game that still enjoys a lasting popularity that manages to recreate the magic that was the glory days of the DayZ mod.
You are thrown helplessly into a world that wants you dead, together with hundreds of other players. Resources are free for the taking and the only limit is your ambitions, time you have to waste and what you value human life at.
Like seriously, why would you shoot a naked man running along the beach with just a stone in their hands? Because, potentially, they might've already farmed some materials or even collected something useful from someone. You never know. In that moment when they freeze like a deer in the headlights and you have to decide how much that person's life is worth to you. (Which in most cases is absolutely nothing besides the material cost for your ammunition.) It's in those moments, when the beauty of this genre unfolds itself.
Technically there is nothing to gain from killing another player, no experience points and no score. Just their inventory. You could've become friends with the stranger you just shot. Nothing stops a Rust server from uniting to tackle all the monuments and PvE aspects of the game. Yes, Rust has dungeons with NPCs and cars now.
But, Instead of everyone working together, you often see players in Rust keep to their own and form unstable alliances. The few you do see, are usually clans made up of premade groups trying to make sure that they're the only ones having fun today. You'll also meet the odd individual sitting on their roof all day, sniping everything that moves, just for fun.
That's when start asking yourself questions, like why fill this digital world with so much misery? Why destroy each other when you could build something greater together? So next time you scroll through social media and wonder why the world burns. Question yourself why a man would do such a thing to another. Play some Rust, sacrifice several day's worth on the different servers and make some interesting discoveries about your fellow humans.
There's no reason to kill each other…
Games are really interesting because they allow us to explore themes, situations and stories in a secluded environment that is usually free of consequences. Who's gonna judge you for running over people in GTA? And if they are other players, the same rules still apply. And it probably takes a person much smarter than me to puzzle out why people in online sandbox games are usually quite unhinged. Maybe it is because in pursuit of entertainment, you never really step back and think about your actions. And that's kind of scary but also incredibly fascinating.
And from my own experiences, in Rust asking someone “please don't kill me” will end with a bolt to the face. When I was faced with the same decision just a few hours later, I remembered that experience. And maybe that's why we don't punch each other to death with rocks in real life. Because we didn't have the experience yet of being mercilessly murdered on some beach over a pile of scrap metal.
So I could twist this into some grand think piece, about the circle of violence. And how Rust players have been slowly spiraling down, influencing each other by just playing and talking the game. This is again very interesting because thanks to its open-ended structure, there's no reason to kill each other besides wanton greed and a healthy dose of paranoia. And the thought that Rust casually explores the tragedy of the human experience makes it worth playing. I think.
You gotta understand that I don't think games have to be good. It's way more important that they're interesting. Rust is actually a good game though. There is a lot of mechanical depth to its systems and while there is a meta, you still have options and the game allows you to be creative in how you go about your day in it. Just look up some of the greater YouTube creators. Be it Stimpee being a menace to society or Welyn recreating Oceans Eleven with naked people.
So should you pick up Rust in 2022?
Okay after philosophically waxing on and on for a bit, let's try and answer this question and give some suggestions. Rust today is a lot more accessible than it used to be but it also heaps more complicated. Getting into it and learning the ins and outs of it requires a lot of patience and is often very frustrating. Believe me, you'll feel it when you're beset by a group of teenagers making you relive the good old days of Modern Warfare 2 lobbies.
But as stated extensively above, Rust is a very fascinating experience. And it speaks volumes to Rust's quality as a game, that after almost 10 years the game still enjoys a healthy player base and is still being updated on a regular basis. Most players probably enjoy it for the emergent gameplay loop, because you never know what kind of insanity you might run into when waking up on a beach.
What sets Rust apart
I've seen some wild stuff and despite the doom and gloom above, trying to paint this as the ‘humanity is doomed'-simulator (which it is, don't get me wrong). You get so meet some fascinating characters. Be it the terrifying noise of someone running at you while yelling “Friendly! Friendly!” only to blast your brains out. Or the unexpected kindness of strangers when someone drops you a bandage or some food in the hour of need. But those are experiences you can have in other games of its kind as well so what sets Rust apart?
The fact that you can build a home and are sooner or later forced to interact with others in some way to get resources. Some of those are surprisingly spare and the right loot at the right time can give you a huge advantage in the early cycle of a wipe. And thanks to this hard-coded circle of violence, you'll have to fight.
The moment Rust really unfolds its beauty are those infamous raids on a player's base. Which is part war of attrition and part safecracking. Remember how I mentioned earlier that you have to build complicated layouts of doors and walls to protect yourself? Because getting to someone's base and killing all its inhabitants is only part of the fun. Now you actually have to get inside. And over the years, players have gotten really crafty with those structures. Using complicated layouts of honeycombs and fake doors, just to get potential home invaders frustrated.
When you're the one raiding, most of the fun comes from brute forcing your way through to the loot. Or turning a once proud base into a pile of rubble. While you constantly live under the fear of being raided in that very same moment. And there are always opportunists, trying to feed on the leftovers or further their own means. At this point, I wonder if Rust is just an elaborate social experiment and high art. Or just a mechanically complex PvP game that encourages players to stab each other in the back.
Now you'll probably wonder how to enjoy Rust the best way. Playing on European servers is very fun, because adding to the tension of some naked potentially packing heat. There is also this whole language barrier thing going on. Some might find it frustrating, but I find it quite amusing how a misunderstanding in broken English can spiral out of control. But if you want to learn the ropes, I suggest playing on a modded server with low population and boosted resources. You want to learn how to survive first before you learn how to fight for your life.
Because PvP is not a thing that'll just translate from other games. Being good at shooters won't make you good at Rust. It'll help, but getting comfortable in knowing what fights you can win and which ones you should avoid is a learning by doing kinda thing. If you feel comfortable in taking the plunge, go join some of the official servers and embrace the madness. And don't forget to try and talk to people, but don't assume everyone is friendly by default and don't approach them yelling “Friendly! Friendly!”. You're just giving them time to shoot. But greed your neighbors and forge some kind of non-aggression pact. At least until you can pull a fast one on them.
Now go out there and have a transcendent experience about the human condition, or just form a cult of howling naked guys with wolf heads. I don't know, just don't be one of those Rust players. And if you want to keep up to date with all things esports and gaming, visit us here on ESTNN

Here's what you need to do to acquire the Ariana Grande Fortnite skin.
Pop superstar Ariana Grande is coming to Fortnite for the upcoming Rift Tour, an in-game concert where the artist will perform several of her songs. In addition to an event spanning three days, Fortnite is adding Ariana Grande as an outfit in the Icon Series. It will only be available for a limited amount of time, so let’s look at how you can unlock the Ariana Grande skin in Fortnite.
The Ariana Grande outfit in Fortnite will be available in early August in order to coincide with the Rift Tour. To acquire the skin, players will need to purchase it from the in-game Item Shop. Epic Games has yet to specify exactly when the Ariana Grande skin will appear in the Item Shop, but with the first show of the concert going down on August 6, it’s safe to say that it will likely appear when the shop resets on August 5.
The Ariana Grande outfit only being obtainable through the Item Shop means that you’ll need to fork over a considerable amount of V-Bucks for it. Exact prices have yet to be revealed, but looking at past Icon Series skins as an indicator, the Ariana Grande skin will probably come in at around 1,500 V-Bucks. We also know that the skin has a Back Bling titled “Piggy Smallz,” nicknamed after Grande’s real-life adopted pig. The full Ariana Grande set will probably cost somewhere around the 2,100 V-Bucks mark.
When the Ariana Grande skin does arrive in the item shop, it will likely be around for several days, before leaving the shop. If you want the skin, it’s a good idea to buy it when it shows up, as there’s no guarantee if or when it will come back. Fortnite added a Travis Scott skin to the game in honor of his concert in April of 2020, and it’s yet to make a return to the Item Shop.
That’s how you can get the Ariana Grande skin in Fortnite. For more on Epic Games’ battle royale, visit the Fortnite topic page on Shacknews.
New leaks are providing details on the next installment for the incredibly popular Assassin’s Creed franchise, suggesting the series may be going back to its roots and remaking the original.
As well as Call of Duty’s Modern Warfare series and God of War, the beloved Assassin’s Creed franchise is also set to return with a bang. Assassin’s Creed is one of those classic AAA story games that every gamer is familiar with. Even if you haven’t played Assassin’s Creed, you likely know what it is and how it plays.
Having said that, the game has evolved and changed a lot over the years, and new leaks surrounding the next Assassin’s Creed game may have veterans of the series excited, as the rumor is that the developers will be taking it back to the AC roots.
The rumored title of the next Assassin’s Creed game is “Mirage,” which means an optical illusion caused by atmospheric conditions.
This ties in nicely with the stealthy theme of Assassin’s Creed and the ability of the main character to blend into their environment and take out the enemy. Here’s everything we know about the title so far.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage leaked release date
The leaked released date for Assassin’s Creed Mirage is Spring 2023, according to Rebs Gaming.
More specifically, leaks say that the game will arrive between April and June 2023.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage leaked setting & main character
According to leaks, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to take place in Baghdad, with “multiple cities to explore, separated by desert and rivers like the Kingdom of AC1.”
The game will take place between 860 and 870, which is when the Anarchy at Samarra occurred, which was a period of violence and instability under the Abbasid Caliphate. Samarra was the capital city of the Abbasid Caliphate, which is modern-day central Iraq.
This seems like the perfect setting for an Assassin’s Creed game, especially one that is supposedly going back to its roots, as it’s based on civil unrest and a historic event in history.
The main character in this leaked Assassin’s Creed game is Basim, and the player will start their journey with him in his youth. The game is said to have “strong inspiration from the first Assassin’s Creed,” so if the leaks are true, those who are fans of the original are in for a treat.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage leaked gameplay details
As reported by Mr Rebs, “several RPG elements” have been removed, “no more dialogue choices, no gender choice, and no more level system.”
The gameplay is said to be “slightly different from that of Valhalla, less raw and with new animations.”
Supporting the claim of Assassin’s Creed Mirage going back to the series’ roots, “Eagle Vision is back,” as well as the bird which has been a feature in the games since AC Origins. It also seems that Basim will use the classic hidden dagger.
Assassin’s Creed 1 remake rumor
Along with these leaks on Assassin’s Creed Mirage, it is also rumored that the first Assassin’s Creed game is being remade, and could possibly be “integrated into a Season Pass which will also include DLC in Constantinople” that will be released “a few months later.”
Ubisoft have been celebrating fifteen years of the franchise, so marking this milestone with a remake of the beloved original would be incredible.
That’s all on Assassin’s Creed Mirage for now, but as more information is released, we will be sure to update this article so stay tuned. For more, check out how PlayStation is expanding into mobile games.

Epic is once again rewarding active players for reeling in new ones. The Fortnite Refer A Friend program is now live until January 10, 2022, and players who complete every task in the program, whether they're new players or seasoned devotees, will earn the Rainbow Rider skin and all of her cosmetics. Here's how to unlock Rainbow Rider using Refer A Friend.
Fortnite Free Rainbow Rider Skin
Fortnite Refer A Friend begins today and invites active players to bring in lapsed or totally new players in order for both parties to earn a bundle of free cosmetics. Players can sign up at the Fortnite Refer A Friend website and then invite up to five friends to check out Fortnite. For every milestone cleared during times when both parties play together, new rewards will be unlocked.
Qualifying players include anyone who has played less than two hours of a main battle royale mode in Fortnite within the last 30 days. That includes solo, duos, trios, and squad game modes, so even if a player knows someone who spends all their time in Creative, they can still earn rewards for bringing them into battle royale. Of course, the new player earns those rewards too.
In total, there are five tasks players must complete when paired up with their newbie friends. The rewards will always be unlocked in the same order. Here's what it takes to earn them all:
Add a qualifying friend - Rainbow Rider loading screen
Play one game in Fortnite battle royale with a referee - Rainbow Rider wrap
Place in the top 10 three times with a referee - Rainbow Rider Glider
Eliminate 10 opponents while playing with a referee - Rainbow Rider pickaxe
Both players earn 60 account levels before January 10, 2022 - Rainbow Rider skin
Account levels are essentially battle pass levels, though a battle pass purchase isn't required to participate in Fortnite Refer A Friend. Players without the battle pass still level up, they just won't earn additional battle pass rewards. That last requirement does imply players will need to sink a few weeks into the event to unlock the final reward, but the rest can be done in a single day with a combination of skill and maybe beginner's luck.
For players jumping in brand-new to Fortnite, the fastest way to level up is to complete quests. We have a ton of quest guides ready to help new players earn their way to Rainbow Rider. Try the Ariana Grande quests, Dark Jonesy quests, or the Ghostbusters quests to get going. Quests, sometimes called challenges, also release every week in Fortnite, and players will find custom daily and weekly challenges in their personal quest logs too.

In the past few years, the battle pass has become the primary way for many games to find post-launch financial revenue. The system, which will typically require gamers to complete daily and weekly challenges to unlock in-game items at various levels, has many problems that can hurt players' experience of the game. Despite this, battle passes are still by far the best option game developers have to keep their work profitable after launch.
While the concept existed in some form as early as 2013, battle passes became a juggernaut of gaming with Fortnite: Battle Royale, which gave players a two-tiered, multi-leveled reward system. While there were cosmetics and in-game currency available in the free tier, players looking for the best rewards could (and still can in Fornite'sSeason 3, Chapter 3) pay to unlock the premium battle pass and win even more rewards. Since then, most multiplayer games have introduced battle passes in some degree, with even Halo Infinite adding battle passes, to mixed reception. Despite the flaws in the system, the battle pass trend is likely to continue for some time.
What Makes Battle Passes Terrible
Share your videos with friends, family, and the world You leap out of a pelican at top speed,. Fortnite battle royale might be much more popular, but there's a.
The core purpose of a battle pass is to give players a feeling of progression as they unlock new cosmetics or currency to spend on items. While this isn't a problem on its own, a major downside to many battle pass systems is the daily and weekly challenges that are required to level up. To make the battle pass different from standard levels in the game, developers will typically make the challenges for battle passes separate from typical win conditions. This translates to frustration in-game, as some players might pass up victories to take actions they need to level their battle pass.
The separate free and premium tiers have also been criticized, as some battle passes like Halo Infinite'sseason 1 pass provide very few customization options for free players, with the majority of armor unlocks being kept in the paid pass. Even with Halo's season 2 improving upon the previous season, the game has struggled to keep players invested. While players shouldn't expect the free tier to contain as much content as the paid tier, those not willing or able to pay for the pass can feel slighted if it seems like developers are unwilling to give free players anything interesting.
The season model, popularized by Fortnite and kept in almost every game, exploits the fear of missing out, making players who want the highest tier rewards grind through challenges for hours before the pass expires, and then it's on to the next season. For games with slow battle pass progression or tedious unlock conditions, players can easily burn out trying to unlock the items they want, spoiling the experience of playing the game. The system can also come across as predatory, especially when gamers are offered ways of paying to level up the pass.
Why Battle Passes Are Still Better Than Other Options
is halo better than fortnite
While the battle pass system can seem frustrating and exploitative, the system still manages to be better than what has come before it. Most modern gamers might not remember when multiplayer games would introduce paid DLC map packs, which could end up killing a game's player base by separating out those who paid for new maps from those who didn't. Despite the problems of its current tier system, PlayStation Plus used to only provide players with online play. Games like World of Warcraft have also seen worse monetization though requiring paid subscriptions in order to continue playing as well as releasing expensive expansion packs.
Where battle passes truly look the best is when comparing them to loot boxes. The monetization system of loot boxes has drawn enough criticism that countries are warning companies to limit their practices. While battle passes can be criticized for keeping highly sought-after items in paid slots of the battle pass, gamers having a guarantee of when they can get the desired legendary cosmetic is preferable over having to spend real money on a loot box with only a chance at the item. Loot boxes are so despised that EA earned an infamous World Record for defending them.
No matter how developers go about it, gamers will likely never fully accept the way games look to continue making money after launch. Despite the flaws and frustrating design behind battle passes, it seems as though developers have finally found the best answer for keeping revenue up while continuing to provide additional game content for fans. With a near-unanimous agreement on keeping items affecting gameplay from being in battle passes, the largest benefit the system has is its optional status for those not interested in the newest cosmetics, allowing gamers to enjoy playing what they love for longer than ever before.

Fortnite is nothing without its community, but it also allows owes a huge debt to the huge names who play it. That was the thinking behind starting the Icon Series skins, which have now spread out to include household names.
Fortnite Icon Series skins all feel like a major event when they are added to the game, as Epic wisely don’t add too many, too often. Icon Series skins are their own rarity and have their own special prestige; getting a Fortnite skin is probably the be all and end all for a lot of Fortnite content creators. Being immortalised in a game that you’ve poured your all into with your very own skin must be quite the special feeling.
But Fortnite has gone beyond “just” creators in Fortnite, with the Icon series now including real-life icons like Ariana Grande, Lebron James, and many more. While it might muddy the waters in the Fortnite storyline quite a lot to have a bunch of famous faces running around, it can’t be denied that these collaborations do huge numbers for Epic and the mainstream appeal of Fortnite.
With new Icon series skins being added at least once per season with more no doubt on the way, here’s every Icon Series skin included in Fortnite all the way up to and including Chapter 3.
Fortnite Creators Icon Skins
Here’s a list of all the Fortnite content creators and pros who have their own skins in Fortnite:
Bugha is the only pro on this list so far. Chica, as of this writing, hasn’t been officially announced but has been leaked.
Musician Icon Skins
Here’s a list of all the musicians who have their own skins in Fortnite:
– Marshmello – Major Lazer – Travis Scott – Ariana Grande – J Balvin – Bruno Mars – Anderson .Paak
Marshmello’s concert at Pleasant Park marked the first time the “real world” made its way into Fortnite.
Athlete Icon Skins
Here’s a list of all the athletes who have their own Icon skins in Fortnite:
– Harry Kane – Marco Reus – LeBron James – Neymar Jr. – Naomi Osaka – Chloe Kim
Harry Kane previously played Fortnite with Ninja and is known to be a big fan of the game.
What Was The First Fortnite Icon Skin?
Ninja, the biggest content creator in Fortnite history, was awarded the first ever Fortnite Icon Series skin in Chapter 2 – Season 1 on January 17th, 2020.
However, Marshmello was released as a skin first and retroactively made a part of the Icon Series around the same time, though Marshmello released much earlier in Chapter 1 – Season 7.
How Much Do Icon Skins Usually Cost?
Icon Series skins in Fortnite typically cost 1500 V-Bucks, a sweet spot amount that’s about the same as an Epic rarity skin.
However, players can also usually buy bundles that includes the skin and the rest of the other cosmetics, such as emotes and Back Blings, for 2000+ V-Bucks.
When Do Icon Skins Come Back To The Item Shop?
Icon Series skins coming back to the Item Shop is a case-by-case situation, as sometimes Epic will release Icon Series skin back into the Item Shop as part of a collection, as seen with the creator skins.
However, there are some skins, such as Travis Scott, that are unlikely to ever return due to outside factors.
Any skin that released in a Battle Pass, such as Neymar, will also not be sold in the Item Shop, though Epic could technically sell a slightly different version of that skin as its own thing, as seen with the many, many spins on the likes of Renegade Raider.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is a brand new LOTR adventure that sees players exploring the world of Middle-earth through the eyes of the nefarious Gollum. The game was supposed to release on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC on September 1, but it has been delayed "by a few months." It's unclear exactly when you'll get to roam around Middle-earth as Gollum, but it shouldn't be too much longer. It's also releasing on Switch at a later date. The adventure game is built around stealth and agility instead of combat. If you already know you want to head back to Middle-earth, Lord of the Rings: Gollum preorders are available now at Amazon.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum Preorder Bonuses
At the time of writing, there are no preorder bonuses for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. But with so many retailers yet to list the game, there’s a good chance some will arrive before launch. Be sure to check back in the coming weeks as more locations add the game to their inventory.
The gathering will add cards and sets based on lord of the rings, street fighter, fortnite, and warhammer 40,000. Lord vader is part of the darth vader set. The developer is likely looking to the future regarding what crossovers will come down the road, and a recent fortnite survey possibly gave us.
Preorder The Lord of the Rings: Gollum Standard Edition
$60
If you’re itching to reserve Gollum, you can preorder the game for $60 at major retailers. You can also pre-purchase digital copies at storefronts, including Steam.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has one version for Xbox platforms (works on both Xbox Series X and Xbox One). But like a lot of other games, there are separate PS5 and PS4 disc versions. If you get the PS4 disc, you'll be able to play on both PS4 and PS5. Naturally, the PS5 disc doesn't work on PS4.
The action takes place during The Fellowship of the Ring storyline, although instead of following Frodo and friends, we’ll be treated to a story told solely through the eyes of Gollum.
Since Gollum isn’t well-versed with a sword or bow, you’ll find yourself slinking around in shadows instead of jumping headfirst into battle. The gangly creature excels at clambering around in the nooks and crannies of each level, and you’ll need to be careful about each step if you don’t want to be noticed. There are also a bunch of narrative sequences that can change the game based on your choice of dialogue. The Lord of the Ring: Gollum arrives on September 1, so we don’t have much longer to wait before we can go hands-on with the highly anticipated game.
In the meantime, take a look at our list of the best Lord of the Rings games of all time. We'll hopefully know in a few months if Gollum's adventure joins the list.

It’s wrong enough as fortnite is popular among both male and female gamers. Rule 30 4 fortnite girls with sound. Fortnite rule 30 is quite controversial.

A federal judge ordered Apple on Friday to crack open the tightly controlled App Store and allow people to use payment methods other than Apple's own processor, which usually collects a 30% commission on app purchases.
The decision by U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers is the most significant strike yet against the system that includes Apple's commission, something critics call "the Apple tax." It could force the tech giant to revamp its entire business model for apps on iPhones and iPads.
That said, the judge did not force Apple to lower its 30% commission on its own payment processer, as Epic had hoped. Instead, the judge said customers should just have more app payment options.
Gonzalez Rogers declared that Apple is violating the law by blocking consumers from accessing other payment methods. She wrote that Apple's policies "hide critical information from consumers and illegally stifle consumer choice." Along with what she called the tech giant's "incipient antitrust violations," she ordered that Apple make changes within 90 days.
But she did not go as far as Fortnite maker Epic Games, which sued Apple, had hoped in loosening Apple's grip on a big part of the $100 billion mobile gaming economy.
Moreover, Gonzalez Rogers ordered Epic to pay Apple $3.6 million for violating App Store policies last year. Epic had introduced its own payment method within Fortnite. Apple kicked it out of the App Store, setting the legal battle into motion.
"Today's ruling isn't a win for developers or for consumers," Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney tweeted, adding that his company was fighting for "fair competition among in-app payment methods and app stores."
Apple said the ruling largely favored the company.
In a statement, Apple seized on one part of Gonzalez Rogers' 185-page ruling. She had declared the "relevant market" in the case to be digital mobile gaming transactions. And in that market, she concluded, Apple does not have monopoly power, given the many other competitors, noting that "success is not illegal."
"Apple faces rigorous competition in every segment in which we do business, and we believe customers and developers choose us because our products and services are the best in the world," an Apple spokesman said.
An Epic spokesperson said the company is appealing the ruling. Apple said it is "considering all legal options."
Apple made concessions to app developers ahead of the ruling
Apple recently extended an olive branch to some developers, including Netflix and Spotify, by letting them send messages to customers directing them to payment processors outside the App Store. Apple did not apply the new rule to mobile games, the most lucrative segment of apps for the company.
Gonzalez Rogers' decision forces Apple to go much further by allowing developers, directly within their apps, to steer customers to alternative payment methods. She said Apple must make this change for all of the millions of apps available in the App Store.
The ruling comes after a three-week trial that culminated in Apple CEO Tim Cook taking the witness stand. Cook defended the 30% commission Apple usually charges app makers whenever someone purchases an app through Apple's App Store or when someone buys something in an app downloaded on an iPhone.
In the most dramatic moment of the trial, Gonzales Rogers drilled into Cook about Apple's commission rate, opening a line of questioning that seemed to track with Epic's perspective that Apple's closed system of downloading and processing payments in the App Store has cut out competition and led to higher prices and fewer choices for consumers.
"If there was real competition, that number would move. And it hasn't," Gonzales Rogers said of Apple's 30% cut.
Apple said the revenue from that fee pays for safeguarding the privacy and security of apps. Google subjects developers to the same fee rate for app purchases on the company's Android devices. In response to pressure, both Apple and Google lowered the commission to 15% for certain smaller developers, though the bulk of the money generated for the tech giants comes from fees levied on large app developers.
Big Tech companies face multiple antitrust lawsuits
Courts have emerged as a key battlefield between tech giants and their critics, while lawmakers and regulators in Washington debate ways to police the industry. The Justice Department and state attorneys general are reportedly investigating whether Apple's App Store commission violates U.S. competition laws. And in Europe, regulators have launched a probe into whether the iPhone's ironclad grip on the mobile economy violates European law.
Sweeney, the maverick CEO of Epic Games, had launchedan all-out campaign against Apple after provoking the tech giant by offering Fortnite players a way to buy game items outside the App Store.
In response to breaking its rules, Apple kicked Fortnite out of the App Store. That led Epic to sue and launch a public relations campaign aimed at drumming up support for its crusade against Apple. Sweeney has long claimed he is not acting just for the benefit of his nearly $30 billion video game empire but for developers everywhere who feel squeezed by Apple.
"Everybody doesn't have a great incentive to challenge Apple and Google's 30% because they want to be the next bastard to charge 30%," Sweeney told NPR last year.
