Fortnite Winterfest is one of the major events in the game that is focused on celebrating the holiday season. Epic Games has already announced one for the year 2022 as well, and we have some initial details regarding it. Here's everything you need to know about Fortnite Winterfest 2022, including its start date, featured islands, rewards, and more.

Fortnite Winterfest 2022 Start Date
Fortnite Winterfest 2022 is expected to start around 15th December and will last for about three weeks if we consider past events. However, an official announcement is yet to arrive, and we will update this page once Epic announces the dates.
What to Expect from Fortnite Winterfest 2022
Epic has announced that they will be featuring their favorite islands that fans submit via the Winterfest Callout content submission form in a special Discover row during the event.
The submissions should be done before 1st December, 4 PM ET and must follow specific guidelines and criteria. In addition to this, various tools like Chiller Grenades, Sneaky Snowman, and more will make a return to these islands during Winterfest 2022.
We can also expect daily free rewards as a part of the event, just like last year, along with winter-themed skins and cosmetics in the item shop that will be purchasable by spending V-bucks. Apart from this, we can also expect the Fortnite map to include Christmas-themed decorations and elements during Winterfest 2022.
