Prison Breakout is a very popular game mode in Creative and is one of the games highlighted in this event. It features a 50-player open world where you can play as either a guard or prisoner. Prisoners are tasked with completing tasks to make money, while the guards catch the prisoners to collect coins. By the end of this guide, you will learn how to play Prison Breakout in Fortnite.

How to Play Prison Breakout in Fortnite

To access Prison Breakout, you will need to find the game mode menu upon loading up Fortnite. In the menu, select Creative mode, and accept. The server selection menu will then appear, where you will need to enter the Creative island code. Press enter and enter the code 6531-4403-0726. Click launch and begin your adventure!

Additionally, you can look for the featured islands in the main Welcome Hub. You can enter the code here. Prison Breakout should appear if you enter it correctly.

Once you are in the game, you will spawn as either a guard or prisoner. Prisoners are tasked with escaping prison and completing challenges to collect money. They must also try to avoid the guards. Guards are tasked with preventing the prisoners from escaping. If they do escape, guards are responsible for finding them!

While the Island Games event is ongoing, you can also complete three unique quests to unlock rewards. The rewards for completing Island Games quests include the following:

  • On the Rise Emoticon
  • Wavebreaker Weapon Wrap
  • Qwerty Axe Harvesting Tool

There are additional rewards for completing quests in other game modes. You can also obtain EXP for finishing certain Prison Breakout quests! The challenges and their rewards include the following:

  • Get 25 eliminations in Prison Breakout – 20,000 EXP
  • Buy weapons of epic rarity or higher in Prison Breakout – 20,000 EXP
  • Deal damage while inside a “Prevalent” sedan in Prison Breakout – 30,000 EXP
