Epic Games has released the 21.0.0 patch and now fully updated its website, meaning a return to normal services is here. Provided you have downloaded and installed the Season 3 update, you can jump back in to the game.
UPDATE 3: Fortnite developer Epic Games has released two new Chapter 3, Season 3 trailers. According to the cinematic and gameplay trailers (below), the new season is titled Vibin. The trailers confirm earlier leaks that Indiana Jones and Darth Vader will make an appearance in the Battle Pass. Ballers will also return, alongside new rollercoaster-style circuits that will give them a speed boost. More animals can be mounted and ridden around the map, while lightsabers can be thrown at enemies. Fans can download the update now, with the season itself expected to kick off at 9am BST UK time.

UPDATE 2: More details have emerged about Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3. According to the latest leaks, more animals will be rideable during the new season. This includes raptors and boars. Tilted Towers will reportedly stay on the map, while Ballers are tipped to return.
UPDATE: Fortnite developer Epic Games has given fans the first official look at some of the Chapter 3, Season 3 Battle Pass skins. The new skins can be viewed on the newly launched Fortnite Look website. The new Fortnite Battle Pass characters are named Adira (Blue Jay), Evie (Fuchsia) and Malik (Lancelot). ORIGINAL: Fortnite fans are counting down to the start of Chapter 3, Season 3. The current season concludes with an in-game event at 9pm BST UK time on June 4. With the Collision event likely to last for around 30 minutes, the servers are expected to go offline for downtime maintenance at 9.30pm UK time. Based on a recent blog post by Epic Games, not to mention the timings for the previous season, Fortnite Season 3 will have a June 5 release date and an estimated 9am BST launch time.
That's according to a post announcing the Gen Hoshino concerts: "Celebrate the beginning of the new Fortnite Season with the next Soundwave Series artist!
"The Soundwave Series is a series of musical shows featuring artists from around the world, and the spotlight now turns to Japanese pop artist + music producer Gen Hoshino.
"Hoshino’s show will air back-to-back for 72 hours starting Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 8 AM ET — just a few days after Chapter 3 Season 3 launches on June 5!"
The launch of the new season will coincide with the release of a major Fortnite update, as well as a brand new Battle Pass.
The Battle Pass will reportedly be headlined by a Darth Vader skin, while Indiana Jones could make an appearance as the bonus outfit.
That's on top of the Assemble Snap costume, which appears to be fully customisable.

With Darth Vader making an appearance, there's a strong possibility we might see a famous Star wars location make its debut.
Then there's the usual update, which will contain countless bug fixes and gameplay tweaks. Judging by the Fortnite Trello board, Epic will fix an issue with enemy shots, plus Vending Machines.
